Since 2022, GBC-Education has been active in Ukraine, supporting the country’s education sector through partnerships with member companies HP and Microsoft, which together provided more than 70,000 devices to students and teachers affected by the war. Other initiatives have included the development of an interactive Museum of Mathematics in Kyiv, designed to boost children’s science and maths skills, as well as a nationwide preschool reform effort.

Justin van Fleet, CEO of the Global Business Coalition for Education, said: “We are thrilled to have the Ukrainian Business Council join the Global Business Coalition for Education. We look forward to sharing our resources and building new partnerships to ensure every child has the best start in life, a safe place to learn and skills for the future.”

Nadezhda Bedrichuk, member of the supervisory board of the Ukrainian Business Council, added: “We look forward to our new partnership with the Global Business Coalition for Education. Together, we will work with the business community in Ukraine to bring our talents, skills and resources to advance education and skills for Ukrainian children and youth necessary to enhance economic growth and competitiveness.”

The collaboration reflects a broader push to involve the private sector in rebuilding Ukraine’s education system and equipping young people with the skills needed to secure long-term economic recovery.
