CEO OF THE YEAR BIZX 2026: ANNA FLETCHER REVEALS LEADERSHIP EDGE BEHIND GLOBAL SUCCESS

CEO of the Year BizX 2026 has been awarded to Anna Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer of Heart Relocation, signalling a growing emphasis on leadership models that balance operational complexity with culture-led performance.
Anna Fletcher’s recognition as CEO of the Year at BizX 2026 marks a notable moment for the UK’s international relocation sector, where operational scale and human-centric leadership rarely converge with such clarity.
The award, presented at the ICC Wales during the annual BizX conference hosted by ActionCOACH, placed Fletcher among a cohort of high-growth business leaders navigating increasingly complex global markets. The three-day event drew more than 1,000 entrepreneurs and executives, underscoring the continued demand for structured leadership frameworks in scaling businesses.
Heart Relocation, headquartered in Uxbridge, West London, operates across multiple jurisdictions, managing international moves for both corporate and private clients. Its remit extends beyond logistics to include housing and integration services—areas where service quality is often difficult to standardise across borders.
For Fletcher, the recognition reflects a broader organisational philosophy rather than individual achievement.
“I’m incredibly proud of this because it really reflects what we’ve built as a team. Operating across different countries and with a variety of clients means there’s always a lot going on, so creating clarity and keeping everyone aligned has been key for us.”
That clarity has been shaped in part through her work with business coach Chris Churchman of ActionCOACH. Together, they have focused on simplifying operational complexity while maintaining service consistency—a challenge common to firms scaling internationally.
Central to this approach is the ‘Never More Than 30’ initiative, a structural limit on workload designed to protect both employee wellbeing and client experience.
“The Never More Than 30 idea was created to protect the service quality of our people,” explained Anna. “By ensuring no team member manages more than 30 live cases at once, we give them the space to be proactive, caring and fully present in their private lives. For me, leadership is about creating the conditions for people to thrive – and this award is a meaningful recognition of that approach.”

The model reflects a wider shift in leadership thinking, where performance is increasingly tied to sustainable workforce practices rather than short-term output. In sectors such as relocation—where client relationships and service delivery are highly personalised—this balance is commercially significant.
Chris Churchman highlighted Fletcher’s development as a leader over time.
“What Anna’s achieved since we’ve worked together is genuinely impressive. When I first met Anna and her husband Robert, she was shy but determined to make an impact. This award proves what we’ve all seen develop – Anna is a superbly confident and inspirational business leader.”
Judges at BizX noted Fletcher’s ability to align commercial outcomes with team development, positioning her leadership style as a benchmark within the sector. The emphasis on intentional culture-building, they suggested, is not only improving internal performance but also influencing broader industry standards.
Julie Wagstaff, Managing Director of ActionCOACH UK, reinforced this perspective.
“Anna represents a brilliant example of modern leadership. She’s operating in a demanding, fast-paced environment, yet has created a culture that feels grounded, supportive and high-performing at the same time.
“What really stood out is how intentional she’s been about developing her team. This kind of leadership doesn’t just drive results – it creates long-term, sustainable success. Anna’s win is very well-deserved.”
Fletcher’s journey—from relocating to the UK from Poland two decades ago to leading an international business—adds a further dimension to the narrative. It reflects the entrepreneurial pathways increasingly shaping Britain’s mid-market companies, particularly in service sectors tied to global mobility.
Her recognition at BizX 2026 ultimately signals a shift in what defines executive success: not only the ability to scale operations, but to do so while embedding resilience, accountability and trust at every level of the organisation.
