EDGE BUILDS LONDON MOMENTUM WITH 18-STRONG TEAM AND £172M PROJECT PIPELINE

EDGE LONDON SURGES 160% AS PROPERTY CONSULTANCY EXPANDS TEAM AND WINS BIGGER COMMISSIONS

Property and construction consultancy EDGE has expanded its London team to 18 employees after recording 160% revenue growth in the capital over the past 12 months, driven by repeat business, larger commissions and growing demand across retail, healthcare, leisure, commercial and public-sector projects.

Multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy EDGE is accelerating its London expansion after reporting a 160% increase in revenue from its City office over the past year.

The firm’s Moorgate-based team has grown to 18 employees during the same period, reflecting increasing demand for its services across London, the South of England and a growing portfolio of European and EMEA projects.

EDGE, which operates through a seven-office UK network comprising more than 160 professionals, says the growth has been fuelled by a combination of repeat instructions, long-standing client relationships and success in securing larger and increasingly complex projects.

Larger Projects Drive London Expansion

The London office currently supports work spanning retail, healthcare, leisure and commercial property for both private and public-sector clients.

EDGE has expanded its involvement across major client accounts including Harrods, Louis Vitton, The Other House, the City of London and UCLH, while continuing to strengthen its position in healthcare and retail — two sectors that have become important contributors to the consultancy’s growth.

Its London team is now delivering projects ranging in value from approximately £25,000 to £172 million.

At the same time, increased activity across commercial, leisure and public-sector projects is broadening the firm’s pipeline and creating opportunities for the London operation to function as a hub for work extending beyond the UK.

London Becomes A Platform For International Growth

Graham Grabski, Director at EDGE’s London office, said the expansion reflected growing confidence from clients in the consultancy’s model.

“The growth of our London team marks an important milestone for the business and reflects the confidence our clients place in us.

“Backed by the expertise of more than 160 professionals across our national network, we’ve created an agile team that can support clients with a variety of services and projects of all sizes, ranging from £25k to £172m.

“Looking ahead, we’re excited to build on our success in sectors such as healthcare and retail, expand our presence across London and Europe, and continue providing the hands-on, client-focused service that underpins everything we do.”

The London office forms a key part of EDGE’s national network, giving teams access to specialist expertise and additional capacity from across the business as individual commissions require it.

Challenging The Traditional Consultancy Model

EDGE says its growth strategy is based on maintaining a flexible, integrated consultancy model rather than building isolated regional offices.

Kieran O’Donoghue, Director at EDGE’s London office, said the firm’s emphasis on long-term relationships remains central as the scale of its work increases.

“EDGE was founded to break away from the traditional consultancy model. Our priority has always been to put people first and build meaningful partnerships that deliver lasting value.

“As we continue to grow, enhancing our capability, flexibility and specialist expertise, our commitment remains the same: bring together the right people for every project, build long-term relationships, understand our clients’ needs, and help them successfully deliver increasingly ambitious projects.”

Repeat Business Underpins Growth

The company’s London performance demonstrates the commercial value of repeat business in a professional services market where clients increasingly expect advisers to provide both specialist technical expertise and the ability to mobilise teams quickly.

By operating as one integrated national business, EDGE says it can draw expertise from across its seven locations, allowing the London operation to compete for larger commissions without losing the more hands-on service associated with smaller consultancy teams.

With revenue in the capital having risen 160% in a year and its London headcount continuing to expand, the consultancy is now looking to convert that momentum into a broader presence across the UK, Europe and EMEA while deepening its position in its core healthcare and retail markets.
