PSYOMICS SECURES INNOVATE UK FUNDING TO TRANSFORM NHS MENTAL HEALTH CARE

London-based health technology company Psyomics has secured an Innovation Loan from Innovate UK to accelerate the development of regulated digital mental health technologies designed to help the NHS improve patient care, reduce administrative burdens and support earlier clinical intervention.

The funding represents a significant milestone for the fast-growing healthtech business as it expands its regulated beseen™ platform and prepares to launch three new intelligent clinical decision support products aimed at modernising mental health services.

Accelerating Digital Mental Health Innovation

The Innovate UK-backed programme, Scaling Mental Health Care Through Intelligent Clinical Decision Support Tools, will support the development of three new products:

• Echo
• Loop
• Compass

Together, the technologies are designed to streamline clinical workflows, improve decision-making consistency and reduce paperwork for healthcare professionals working across NHS mental health services.

Psyomics believes the platform could release around 85,000 healthcare professional hours while delivering an estimated 13.2-times return on investment for the NHS during its first year of deployment.

The company already supports services covering more than eight million adults and says the latest investment will enable it to expand its impact significantly.

Meeting Growing Demand

The investment comes at a time when demand for mental health services continues to increase across both adult and children’s services, placing growing pressure on NHS providers already facing workforce shortages and increasing demand for digital transformation.

Psyomics says its technology aligns with wider NHS priorities around earlier intervention, improved community-based care and the modernisation of mental health pathways.
