DOCTIFY AND PHIN JOIN FORCES TO STREAMLINE PRIVATE HEALTHCARE REPORTING

DOCTIFY PARTNERS WITH PHIN TO SIMPLIFY COMPLIANCE FOR PRIVATE HOSPITALS
Healthcare technology platform Doctify has launched a new integration with the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN), enabling private hospitals to streamline patient feedback reporting while supporting compliance with Competition and Markets Authority requirements.
Healthcare technology company Doctify has announced a strategic integration with the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) that aims to simplify regulatory reporting for private hospitals while improving the collection of patient experience data across the sector.
The partnership allows hospitals to collect patient satisfaction feedback through Doctify’s existing platform and submit it directly to PHIN, helping providers meet the requirements of the Competition and Markets Authority’s (CMA) Private Healthcare Market Investigation Order without introducing additional software or costs.
The move reflects growing efforts within the private healthcare sector to reduce administrative complexity while improving transparency for patients making healthcare decisions.
Streamlining Compliance
Many private healthcare providers currently use separate systems to gather patient feedback for internal reputation management and regulatory reporting.
Under the new integration, hospitals already using Doctify can collect patient reviews through a single survey, with the information automatically submitted to PHIN for regulatory purposes.
According to the organisations, consolidating the process into one platform is expected to increase patient response rates by reducing duplicate survey requests while also improving compliance and lowering administrative costs.
The arrangement is available at no additional cost to providers already using the Doctify platform.
Improving Patient Choice
PHIN collects performance and patient experience data from more than 650 hospitals offering private healthcare services across the UK.
The organisation publishes information designed to help patients compare providers and make informed decisions about their care.
Stephanie Eltz, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Doctify, said the collaboration supports the company’s broader mission to improve transparency throughout the healthcare system.
“We are delighted to collaborate with PHIN – this partnership reinforces our mission to improve patient access to healthcare, helping patients access trusted healthcare providers and empowering them to make informed choices about their care in what can be an anxious time,” she said.

Reducing Burdens On Providers
PHIN believes the integration will make it easier for hospitals to submit patient experience information while maintaining the quality of the data collected.
Ian Gargan, Chief Executive Officer of PHIN, said patient feedback plays an increasingly important role in helping people evaluate healthcare providers.
“We already collect large volumes of high-quality data from the UK’s 650-plus hospitals offering private services. Patient experience is one part of that and we know patients value the experiences of those who have undergone procedures before them,” he said.
“Working with Doctify on this initiative provided a great opportunity for us to create a new avenue for data submission and reduce the burden on hospitals.
“We will continue to explore ways to develop this relationship, and others, to ensure we provide a gold standard in healthcare data.”
Technology Supporting Transparency
Doctify works with many of the UK’s largest private healthcare providers, offering reputation management and patient engagement technology designed to improve transparency and strengthen trust between providers and patients.
Its professional healthcare profiles are also used across several major healthcare directories and insurer platforms, including AXA.
Dr Suman Saha, Chief Strategy Officer at Doctify, said the integration was developed after recognising a common operational challenge faced by healthcare providers.
“Working with the majority of major private healthcare providers in the UK, we saw a clear opportunity to solve a genuine pain point,” he said.
“PHIN integration is now part of our core product offering because we believe compliance shouldn’t be a burden – it should be seamless.
“Our goal is to eliminate the duplicate systems and costs that providers currently face, freeing them to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
“Partnering with PHIN aligns perfectly with our commitment to transparency and patient empowerment.”
As healthcare providers continue to digitise administrative processes, integrations that reduce duplication while improving regulatory compliance are expected to become increasingly important across both private and public healthcare services.
