Global leadership development company Alchemist has appointed experienced learning and organisational transformation specialist Russell Miller as Chief Executive Officer, strengthening its executive leadership team as demand grows for practice-led leadership development, AI-enabled learning and organisational performance solutions.
London-headquartered leadership development specialist Alchemist has appointed Russell Miller as Chief Executive Officer, marking a new phase of growth as organisations increasingly invest in leadership capability, cultural transformation and workforce development.
Miller succeeds Stuart Packham, who will continue as Group Chief Executive Officer of parent company Alchemist Group while remaining closely involved in the organisation’s long-term strategic direction.
The appointment comes at a significant point in Alchemist’s development, following a series of strategic milestones including achieving Accredited Learning Provider status from the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI), winning a Gold Stevie Award for Leadership Training Practice of the Year and expanding its capabilities through the acquisition of PCA and PCA Law earlier this year.

Miller brings more than 20 years’ experience helping organisations develop leaders, strengthen organisational culture and manage business transformation across both the public and private sectors.
Most recently, he served as Director of Learning Solutions and Innovation at Imperial College, leading teams delivering custom, open enrolment, online and blended executive education programmes. Throughout his career he has also held senior leadership positions at BTS, Lee Hecht Harrison, Impact International and Capita, working with multinational corporations, government bodies and institutional clients.
His experience spans leadership consulting, business development, organisational strategy and learning innovation, with a particular focus on helping organisations translate complex business challenges into practical leadership development programmes.
