CELNOR EXPANDS RISK MANAGEMENT ARM WITH ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY CONSULTANCY FAITHORN FARRELL TIMMS

Celnor Group has completed the acquisition of Faithorn Farrell Timms (FFT), strengthening its position in the UK’s Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance (TICC) sector as demand grows for integrated risk and property advisory services.
The deal brings FFT into Celnor’s Risk Management division, adding a property consultancy with more than 25 years of experience advising clients across both the public and private sectors. The acquisition reflects Celnor’s strategy of backing entrepreneur-led professional services firms with strong technical depth and established client relationships.
FFT is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy providing a broad range of property and compliance services, including building surveying, stock condition surveys, quantity surveying, employer’s agent services, procurement advisory, health and safety, fire safety and regulatory compliance. The firm is known for combining traditional surveying disciplines with more contemporary risk and compliance expertise.
Operating from regional offices in Potters Bar, Orpington and Brighton, FFT works with housing associations, local authorities, educational institutions, fund managers, health and leisure providers and commercial developers, supporting clients across the full lifecycle of construction and property asset management.
Colin Farrell, senior partner at FFT, said joining the group would support the firm’s next phase of development.
“Joining the Celnor Group marks an exciting new chapter for FFT. We’ve always been passionate about delivering excellence and building trust with our clients, and Celnor’s collaborative culture and vision provide the perfect platform for us to continue evolving. Together, we can enhance our service offering while staying true to the values that define us.”
Robin Faithorn, senior partner at FFT, added that the alignment between the two businesses went beyond commercial ambition.
“Celnor’s investment in people, training & development, technology, and sustainable business growth mirrors our own priorities. By joining forces, we’re better positioned to deliver innovative, integrated solutions that create real value for our clients and the communities we serve.”
For Celnor, the acquisition bolsters its technical capabilities in risk management while reinforcing its broader focus on socially responsible and sustainable business practices.
Simon Parrington, Chief Executive and Founder of Celnor Group, said FFT’s reputation and leadership made it a strong strategic fit.
“I’m excited to welcome FFT to the Celnor Group. Their exceptional reputation for quality, their breadth of expertise, and their strong social values makes them a perfect fit for our Risk Management division. This collaboration not only enhances our technical capabilities but also strengthens our commitment to making a positive difference across the sectors and communities we serve. FFT’s leadership team has built a strong business grounded in professionalism, ethics, and innovation, qualities that perfectly reflect our values and vision.”
