LR Price Publications is a traditional publishing company based in Bloomsbury, London.

It was founded in 2011 and incorporated in 2013. Originally it only had three members of staff, but it now has over 30 editors and designers who are employed on an agency or freelance basis.

The company is independent, which means it is not an imprint and not owned by any other company. It operates a traditional business model which means it primarily focuses on selling physical books in bookshops and is one of the few independent publishing houses that operates such a model, with most other companies choosing to focus on digital books.

LR Price Publications has a total of three offices, its main office is in Old Gloucester Street, its second office which acts as a distribution centre is in Chadwell Heath and it’s third office is in Bloomsbury Square.

The company used to hold regular author workshops at its Gloucester Street address, but these ceased in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Now meetings with authors are held at Bloomsbury Square. The company has its own marketing team which works with authors to promote their books and several of its authors have appeared on Channel 4, Sky, ITV and BBC news.

It also holds regular events with its last event being held at the national British Library.

The publisher sells its books both in bricks-and-mortar stores and online. The publisher’s main retailers are Waterstones which stocks over 100 of its titles and Amazon which lists over 130 of its author’s books.
